Performances, Competitions & More!

SPRING NURSING HOME PERFORMANCES:
Thank you so much to all of the students who participated in our full day of traveling nursing home performances! The students went to two nursing homes in Winfield as well as one in Ark City and they did so great! I am so proud of everyone for taking this time to do such a nice thing! We will try and get to some more performances this summer, so please check back!

COMPETITION #1:
The girls did WONDERFUL at our first competition! Everyone won a medal for their solos, and the trio received a silver medal for, "Amazing Grace" (choreography by Donnette Dittmer) as well as a Judge's Choice Award! The "All That Jazz" trio (choreography by Donnette Dittmer and Amy Faimon) won a high silver award! Isabella Tamburini won first overall in the 12 and under category! Brittney McNown and Courtney Wallace won silver medals for their solos, and Isabella Tamburini won a high silver award for her solo! If you see these three girls, please congratulate them! More details to come after the next competition!

RECITAL:
The recital is scheduled for Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 7:00 PM at the Brown Center in Arkansas City. Admission is free and it is open to the entire public. KSOK will be there broadcasting and we will be giving away a ton of prizes!! Live music and tons of great dances!! We hope to see you there!!
